Nevaeh's First Pair of Skates!

So this year at the very top of Nevaeh's birthday list was a pair of roller skates. And lets just say I was VERY reluctant to purchase a pair after lots of accidents I have seen children have while using skates. Well that was until I come across these.

These are Stomper girls adjustable skates. They are like skates with stabilisers, The Two big wheels at the back make the skates very sturdy and very difficult to fall over. With the adjustable feature it means the skate's will fit your child's foot perfectly for a great comfortable skate. I remember being a child and receiving blisters from my skates and having to wear around four pairs of socks! But these skates will grow with your child which is perfect as we all know how fast children's feet grow. The insoles are fully washable which makes me happy there is nothing worse than smelly muddy skates, The main feature Nevaeh loved with her being so girly is they are Pink the skates are also available in a blue for little boys to enjoy.

Watch this video to See how Nevaeh got on!

The stomper girl skates really are great for any little first time skater even though Nevaeh isn't off skating fast they are giving her skating confidence and teaching her how to balance with lot of support.

I feel so much more confident with letting Nevaeh use these skates than I first did not wanting her to have a pair. They are safe comfy and stylish just what you need. We had a very happy little girl once she had realised I had caved in to getting her skates and couldn't wait to tell all of her friends.

These skates are priced at £34.95 from SKATES Website  The company do not just sell skates they sell a whole range of Items on wheels such as scooters and balance bikes all for great prices!

Monty Bojangles Easter eggs

The only time of the year I will eat chocolate for breakfast lunch and dinner and not feel one bit guilty is Easter Sunday.Easter eggs seem to come in all different shapes and size's I used to think eggs were more for children but Monty Bojangles have created a beautiful luxury range of Easter eggs that suit adults perfectly the box's have beautiful designs and really do stand out from all the other eggs you would usually see on the shelf. Usually I buy eggs the kids like and end up sharing which secretly I hate. These are more of an adults taste which means I have claimed them for myself and Joshua and we won't be sharing!

Unboxing sweet shoppe play doh ice cream cone: Nevaehs Channel

So after around a week of Nevaeh asking to make 'unboxing' video's the latest childrens internet craze I got my iphone out and let her pretend using her imagination. Now I may be biased but her practise video's were pretty awesome. she is only five and loves the camera and is a complete chatter box.

So we went ahead and let her make a real unboxing Video you can check it out below if you could give  her a thumbs up she would be very grateful it really would make her day x

Please bare in mind I control this whole channel Nevaeh has no access to it or an account of her own.

Paint and Play ponies set :Review

Paint And Play ponies from Interplay is suited for ages between 4-7, So with Nevaeh being five she is a perfect age for this kind of craft.
In the paint and play ponies you receive
 *2 x Ponies
*2 x saddles, Bridles & Reins
*5 x Pot of paint
*1 x Paintbrush
*1 x printed card stable
 * Instructions

So everything you need to set up your very own pony stable. The stable its self was maybe a little fiddly for Nevaeh to do alone so we mastered that together. All items including ponies are free standing and all stand very well, we have had crafts previously with free standing items that just fall over and are pretty naff but these items all stand very strong.

With all our table covered and stable set up we were ready to paint the ponies Nevaehs favourite bit, Nevaeh spent some time painting her pony even if it it all different colours, She says this is fine because its a beautiful magic fairy pony. I found the craft set educational to because I found my self teaching Nevaeh the real names of a ponies body such as instead of feet I told her they were horse hoof's We both enjoyed doing this craft it can get a little messy but that is part of all the fun!

Once both ponies were painted and dried we had fun playing with them running round the house galloping don't worry this isn't part of the instructions but it is really good fun. Over all myself and Nevaeh enjoyed the craft the only down side I would like to point out is you only get one tiny paint brush, I think two would be more appropriate for this craft maybe so two children could enjoy or an adult. The craft is RRP £7.99 and be purchased From the interplay website itself or any leading toy store.

Colours Colours Everywhere!

Colours everywhere is a brand new book for the age range 0-3, Lullah as you know is currently Two and colours is something she seems to get muddled up with, The book has been created to teach children the early-learning concept of colours in a fun, relaxed way it is full of secure raised pieces and colourful rhymes to help little ones discover the wonders of the rainbow!

Reading has always been a big thing in our house especially now Nevaeh 5 can read for herself she is the one who reads bedtime story's to us all at night time, Lullah loves to snuggle up next to her big sister and have a book read to her. Lullah has been taking it upon herself to read Colours everywhere to all of us at home telling us the colours and whats on each page.

Lullah has been enjoying this book even though she is more into telling me what the objects are rather than what colour they are. The pages are very bright and bold she enjoys looking through this book and is easy for little hands to turn the pages and feel the 3D pictures. Its eye catching and bright with childlike images with smiley fish and cute clouds.

The book is Illustrated by Samantha Meredith and Text by Libby Walden The price of this book is £8.99  I think the price is a good one as the book is board so less chance of rips and damages which happens allot to paper books. This book is available for you to order from the little tiger website  HERE

Lullah was sent a copy of colours everywhere in return for a Short review on the product. All opinions are my own

Update On Nevaeh

So this week we got to attend parents evening, When we arrived we were greeted by a learning journal with a picture of Nevaeh on the front. Its so funny how the picture was taken only a few months ago but how different and grown up she looks in a matter of months.
Her teacher went on to tell us she is a very bright girl a brilliant reader who is super confident in everything she does,She has lots of friends who are always asking her to make handbags for them which makes me laugh she somehow in her clever little mind she started making handbags out of items she finds at school such as cereal boxes paper and tape. Her teacher went on to tell us they even gave her more lines in the Christmas play because of how much she loved it and how confident and loud she was. Well done Nevaeh! Keep it up mummy and daddy are super proud of you!

Something Nevaeh really loves is imaginative play she has a wild imagination and really shines when she is putting on a show. They also went on a little school trip the local fire station which Nevaeh really enjoyed, she had so much to tell me when I picked her up from school all about the poles the firefighters get the slide down other things they do such as cutting people out of car accidents and the children even got to have ago on spraying the water hose! These story's really fill me with joy the fact they are learning whilst having fun is brilliant. Nevaeh was even telling me yesterday to check our fire alarms at home. Nevaeh is really enjoying school and its a pleasure to watch her bloom and learn.

Keep blooming like the little flower you are Nevaeh you grace our lives with so much happiness x

The Wonderbra review

Something I have always struggled with is Bra's, whether it be not fitting right being uncomfy and we must of all gone through the four boob struggle when the bold men wont just sit correctly in there hammocks!
Since having children the thought of going to be measured in a store mortifies me I could not think of anything worse than getting my nakey strechmark body out on show in front of the gorgeous thin underwear sales staff meaning I have always just sort of guessed my size since then in high street shops.I have always walked passed in awe of beautiful underwear but never felt comfortable enough to wear them.

The Wonderbra have a beautiful range of all different types and styles of bra for you to find a perfect one to suit you. Having a search through the website I come across styles I didn't even know existed such as the Ultimate plunge bra and also the Triangle bra! It was very interesting looking into more high quality bra's. So once you know your size which is easy done at home with a standard tape measure go ahead and pick your bra.

I was sent this beautiful One et Only Push-Up bra from the Exclusive Collection  In black

The detail on this bra is stunning to me it looks like something you would see on a mermaid with abit of a shell looking detail trimmed with a glitter/silver lace. This bra is a push up support to give you that full sexier look and feeling it has Graphic patterns with 3 thin straps, extending from each cup to give it a unique look.
Putting this bra on really did make me feel comfortable and honestly gave me a little confidence boost I paired it with just a black pair of lace briefs it is the first time since loosing weight I have wore a lovely set of underwear and braved the mirror. It really made me feel good about myself and I had never realised how much my ugly underwear made me look frumpy and made me feel unhappy about my body.
*Photo of the bra featured on the website on model*

This bra is priced at £36.00 is is one of the bras at the higher end of the price range with Wonderbra there are many priced lower than this to fit ladies budgets. I found I was buying cheap bras every so many weeks due to them breaking or being uncomfortable. I have learnt that if I pay a little more I will be investing in a bra that is more likely to last a lot longer and give me a little confidence boost it is so worth it.

The right bra can change your world in an instant." -Laurie Van Brunt
